Ascende · Vindica · Morieris
A roguelike tower with no top floor.
The tower
Climb an endless, ever-shifting tower in Chronicles of Aether, a classic roguelike where every piece of loot might be a godforged relic or a cursed mistake.
Battle through dozens of monsters and towering bosses, gear up in sanctuary towns with merchants, mages and stranger souls, and shape your hero across six stats and 87 unlockable skills.
Somewhere above floor 25 the false gods begin to stir. Put down four of them and the Aetherial Nexus itself comes for you.
> You ascend the tower...
> Harpy shrieks and dives!
> You hit Harpy for 17.
> Picked up Ring of the Arcane.
> ✦ An Aether-Gorged Troll materialises!
> The tower shudders. Something older is waiting above.

What waits inside
There is no last floor to reach. The tower keeps going until you've done what it takes to end it.
Death is permanent, and the tower remembers how you fell. "Stabbed by a goblin. A goblin. Really."
Swords, bows, wands, tomes and trinkets, some of them cursed, all of them random.
Strength, Resilience, Agility, Mind, Arcane and Faith. Spend your points and unlock skills as you climb.
Every fifth floor, rest in town: trade with the Merchant, reforge at the Lyceum, lift curses at the Sanctum.
Past floor 25, Aether Gods begin claiming boss floors. Each one is a fight unlike anything below.
The bestiary
Goblins, harpies, liches, mimics that look exactly like a chest, and things the historians refuse to name. Kill one to learn its secrets.
Final logEaten by something pretending to be a chest. Classic.
